You've probably seen the headlines. Something about Florida eliminating property taxes. Maybe a neighbor mentioned it, maybe it showed up in your feed with a lot of excitement attached. I want to slow down and give you the actual facts, because there's a lot of noise out there right now and very little of it is accurate.

Here's the short version. Nothing has changed yet. Your property tax bill this year is calculated exactly the way it always has been.
